Community Based Organisations

Untitled design (41)_edited.png

“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much”

"

"

At Blossom, we envision women at the heart of community development; establishing

community-based organisations and networks primarily women-led, we promote collective action

and collaboration at the forefront of our interventions.

In the past years, we set up hundreds of women-led Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Virudhunagar district to enhance mutual help and collaboration and raise awareness on fundamental challenges shared by the group members.

From these efforts, we have initiated a series of community-led initiatives such as microfinance groups, our Poomalai Women's Collective and independent community-based patient networks
including Survive Sugar, Rainbow TB Forum and Paneer Poo HIV Positive Women Network.
