COVID-19 Project Artemisia
With the rapidly evolving nature of the pandemic Project Artemisia is a timely and pointed initiative that will support less privileged families and empower women through COVID education and awareness raising. Our women COVID-19 survivors are advocates and community leaders who are at the center of these efforts.
COVID-19 Second Wave Distribution
Thanks to the fundraiser set up amidst the second upsurge of cases in Tamil Nadu, over September and October, we have delivered emergency dry-rations to the most affected communities in Virudhunagar and Kanchipuram.
Madurai Emergency Distribution
In September, Blossom carried out an emergency ration distribution project in the Madurai area to respond to the basic needs of vulnerable households struggling to get by due to the COVID-19 crisis.
G.C.C. Community Intervention Program
Blossom Trust has partnered with the Greater Chennai Corporation to implement a Community Intervention Project (CIP), conducting risk profiling and referring symptomatic individuals to local healthcare providers.

TG Emergency Ration Distribution
In April the Kanchipuram team for the Transgender Intervention Project raised funds and distributed dry rations to vulnerable members of the Transgender community.
Social Media Campaign
As an immediate response to the threat of the coronavirus, Blossom Trust launched a media campaign, using infographics to educate the population on hygiene measures and best practices to prevent transmission.
